All along, the west has grudges with the east becoz we hav what they dont have. We have oil, vast natural resources, cheap labour, and now the east hav nuclear power. China is developing be it in business or technology; and possibly that worries the west, thus they touch on the religion and terrorist issues to engage in a war with countries near Indian ocean & go their way up to Pakistan and possibly China. 
Remembering the past when they came (invade or conquer?) to asia with means to gather (or is it steal?) our natural resources, so they claimed and yet they implemented their ideology about how great they are. We can recall that because that is part of the History..
We ain't no different than u, so stop bullying us.
Things have changed now. Dear westerners, don't  always look down on the east, bcoz we ain't that stupid.. Heck, we can even master their language and don't even dare to think that the eastern are stupid! :)
I am fascinated by India and China whereby they control their own country well thru economy. Only by using economy they heighten their economy strength  to push the westerns down a bit.. And if the Asian can be as united as 1, rest assured, the situation might have turned differently.
Hell, the west doesnt even have Gold reserve anymore and yet the world trade on USD so much. Based on what ground does the USD hold on to..?     *ponder*
